Gavin Muge

Gavin has a background in the recruitment and leisure industries spanning 15 years. As an Operations Manager for two different companies over a 10 year period that ran multi purpose public leisure facilities Gavin gained lots of experience in facility management primarily sales, marketing, HR, health and safety, event planning and customer care.

Within recruitment, Gavin joined Reed then Teaching Personnel and over a 5 year period advanced to the role of Regional Manager for London and South East England. The opportunity to move into a training role was accepted next and Gavin spent the next 8 years working as the

Commercial Trainer for Teaching Personnel driving the learning and development side of the business.

Gavin moved into a freelance training role in 2012 and has worked with different clients in a range of sectors including:

  • Education recruitment

  • NHS

  • Engineering

  • Local Government

  • Agriculture

  • Insurance

  • Utilities

Gavin’s specialities include helping under-performing sales teams to adopt a consultative selling approach and helping people managers adopt soft skills to help them manage their people in a beneficial way.

Gavin is an ex Football League Assistant Referee, a member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce and is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
